How to Keep Your Chocolate from Melting
We think chocolate is delicious - but melted chocolate is just plain messy. Chocolate starts to melt at 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
With temps rising to over 100 in many parts of the country this summer, how can you keep enjoying your Glow Chocolate bars even when it is hot outside?
Here are some hints for keeping your chocolate cool, courtesy of e-how.
Keep it in the dark - Keeping your chocolate out of the sunlight and away from the heat will help it last longer. Instead of leaving the chocolate on the counter, try a dark cupboard or cabinet.
Keep it cool - Chocolate starts to melt at 70 degrees. If your house is not that cool in the summer., consider storing the chocolate in the refrigerator. Wrap it in plastic wrap to help insulate it more and to protect it from picking up flavors of other foods in the refrigerator.
Ice it down. If you are brining chocolate to a picnic or outdoor event (can we get an invite?), put it in a cooler with some ice.
Follow our hints and enjoy a tasty treat this summer!
