Glow Chocolatiers is proud to be part of the 2016 National Candy Month. To help you celebrate, here are some facts about chocolate that you might not have known.
* A 1oz piece of milk chocolate has about the same amount of caffeine as a cup of decaffeinated coffee.
* We like nuts! 40% of almonds and 25% of peanuts produced in United States are used in commercially produced chocolate.
* The word chocolate comes from the Aztec xocolatl meaning bitter water. The Aztec king Montezuma believed that chocolate was an aphrodisiac - he drank 50 golden goblets each day.
We think that the best way to celebrate National Candy Month is buy some Glow Chocolate Truffles and share them with a friend.
